MULLET’S Aluminum Celebrates 35th Anniversary with Industry Awards
As the region’s most trusted name for quality workmanship and excellence in customer service, Mullet’s Aluminum is celebrating its 35th anniversary with a bevy of industry awards.
For the 6th consecutive year in a row, Mullet’s Aluminum Products, Inc. was presented the prestigious Aluminum Association of Florida’s 2012 Award of Excellence in 4 categories at the association’s annual tradeshow and conference held at Mystic Dunes Resort in Celebration, FL.
The award categories were:
Railings –
- Project: Fully welded aluminum and glass railings fabricated by Mullet’s Aluminum and installed at a private residence on Lido Shores. General Contractor was Whitehead Construction and the Architect of Record was DSDG Architects.
Miscellaneous Metals –
- Project: Fully welded aluminum railings and decorative aluminum grating fabricated and installed by Mullet’s Aluminum at the Manatee County Area Transit Bus Depot. General Contractor was Zirklebach Construction and the Architect of Record was Shenkel Shultz.
Carports, Canopies & Walkways –
- Project: Aluminum walkway canopies fabricated and installed by Mullet’s Aluminum at Manatee Elementary School, Lake Worth, FL. General Contractor was Gilbane Construction.
Aluminum Awning & Shutters –
- Project: Fully welded aluminum balcony railing fabricated and installed by Mullet’s Aluminum with integrated roll down shutters at Club Brittany Condominium, Naples, FL. The engineer of record was Karin’s Engineering.
The awards represent the highest standards in overall project quality and craftsmanship
within the aluminum and glass industry in the State of Florida.
The Aluminum Association of Florida (AAF) is a non-profit organization headquartered
in Orlando, FL dedicated to promoting a strict code of ethics and standards amongs
members within the aluminum industry.
In addition to receiving the industry’s highest recognition for excellence in aluminum
fabrication, Mullet’s Aluminum also received PGT Industries Platinum Dealer status for
the 9th consecutive year. There are only a handful of PGT dealers nationwide that
achieve this lofty status annually. The Platinum Dealer status is significant and
recognizes the “best of the best” dealers for their sales volume, product understanding
and excellence in customer satisfaction.
